October Mentor Reflection
Meeting with my mentor in October was also a great experience. My mentor is licensed to be an high school English teacher for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. The processes that she had to go through in order to teach is take the pracsis 1 test, which is a content knowledge test on grammar, literature, and every teacher had to write 3 to 4 essays and they also had to take a pracsis 3 test, but we didn't go into depth about that test and the they also had to get a background check of course. We also talked about professional development and that conversation was a little bit more informational, but I was kind of confused because she's an English teacher and I didn't quite understand probably because English is alot.
